MANGROVE EDUCATION

By | Sin categorizar

This week we were in the schools of El Quetzalito and Creek Chino, educating children about mangroves, their problems and possible solutions. The class consisted of various educational dynamics between plays with puppets, storytelling, educational books on mangroves, games and identification of problems and solutions by children.

Thanks to the support of Rufford Foundation, we were able to deliver 400 books from the story created by Blue World Foundation called “Timmy the Crab Explorer: Magical experience by the mangrove” and environmental education was provided to 400 children from the Caribbean of Guatemala.
