Protect bees. Strengthen communities. Conserve biodiversity.

Bees are essential to life

More than 75% of the crops that feed the world depend, to some degree, on pollination.

When we protect a hive, we protect biodiversity, food security and the balance of ecosystems.

The importance of bees

Protecting a hive also protects the mangroves

Mangroves store carbon, protect coastlines and sustain marine life. Every adopted hive strengthens these ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.

Participating apiary

We currently work with the Ki’il Sarstoon Apiary, located in the community of Sarstún.

46 hives are available for adoption in this pilot phase.

Production and impact

A single hive can impact thousands of plants every day.

The reports include information on:

  • Number of honeycombs harvested
  • Approximate equivalent in honey produced
  • Overall hive condition

Your support translates into real results.

By-products and added value

Community beekeeping also drives the creation of by-products such as soaps, candles and other items.

This strengthens the local economy and diversifies income for families.

The real process

Managing each hive includes monitoring, responsible harvesting and proper processing.

Your adoption contributes directly to sustaining this work.
